Jason Aldean Opens Up About His Weight Loss Journey, Reveals Brittany Aldean Plays A Role In Keeping Him Slim
Jason Aldean has noticeably shown a slimmer physique since 2019, and he has managed to keep the weight off three years later.
The 46-year-old country music superstar recently received a phone call from the Big D & Bubba Show and opened up about the changes he made over the years to his health regimen and lifestyle.
Says He’s Motivated To Lose Weight After See Recent Photos Of Himself
Reflecting on his initial decision to drop the weight, Aldean told co-hosts of the radio show Derek Haskins (Big D) and Sean Powell (Bubba) that he became motivated to shed some pounds after catching a glimpse of his body shape in pictures.
“I saw a couple of pictures a couple of years ago, and I was just like, what is going on right now? I’ve got to get it together,” the father of four shared. “And so I just really started to focus on it a little bit and just try to get myself back into a little bit better shape. It’s still not great, but it’s better.”
Aldean hasn’t been alone in his journey to keep his weight off, though. He admits that his wife, Brittany Aldean, continues to play a large role in keeping her country-singing husband in tip-top shape.
Haskins and Powell pressed Aldean about his personal habits, asking him what kind of changes they should make themselves to achieve the same weight-loss results as Aldean.
Jason Said His Wife Brittany “Eats Pretty Healthy”
Aldean said, “Just marry somebody where every time you’re in there about 10:00 p.m. at night getting ready to eat something, they’re like telling you not to. You know what I mean?”
“She slaps your hand at the fridge?” the co-hosts questioned of Brittany, half-jokingly.
“No, no. She’s just my wife. She eats pretty healthy. And I think, for me, I just kind of fall into that. I’m like, ‘Okay, well we’re eating fish tonight. Okay, cool. We’re eating, yeah, fish tonight. Okay, cool.’ So honestly, it’s just that, and just trying to be more active,” Aldean said. “Just getting out, trying to, I don’t know, play golf or do just whatever.”
