‘Argylle’ Star Henry Cavill Is Almost Unrecognizable in Photos Promoting His New Movie

Looks like 2024 is shaping up to be quite a great year for Henry Cavill!
The Witcher alum is busy promoting his highly-anticipated new film Argylle, but he’s also letting fans know about a new project he’s particularly excited about. Posting photos of himself in a full beard and in a period-era costume aboard a ship to Instagram, Henry announced his next movie, called The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. And if that wasn’t enough, he also revealed folks would have the chance to see the trailer sooner than they’d expect.
“Whilst my Argylle press tour nears completion, there is yet more excitement to come!” he excitedly wrote on January 30. “Tomorrow will bring the trailer for Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare! Watch this space for more bearded and twirly wirly moustachioed antics.”
Given the Enola Holmes star’s success in film and TV over the last decade, it wasn’t a surprise that fans flocked to the comments upon hearing he had a new acting role up his sleeve.

So, what exactly is The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare about? According to IMDB, the movie is based on Damien Lewis‘2014 book Churchill’s Secret Warriors: The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes of WWII,and will follow a secret British World War II organization that uses unique forms of warfare to fight the Nazis and change the future of undercover operations.
Now, should you be curious to see what’s to come, the official trailer dropped on January 31 and stars Henry alongside a plethora of other famous faces, like Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer, Henry Golding and Eiza González.
