Dua Lipa walked the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Party last night not only embodying one of the season’s biggest trends, the big red coat, but giving it her own twist—or should we say stud.

Ever the fan of the bright fiery hue (just look at her iconic ruby tresses if you need any proof), Dua indulged in a monochromatic moment for the big event and put her outerwear on center stage. The “Houdini” singer’s statement piece was a shiny, vibrant candy apple-red leather trench coat that was covered in gold ball studs that glistened in the light all over. The jacket, which comes from Valentino’s Spring/Summer 2024 Couture Collection, featured a long construction that hit just above her ankles, notch lapels, and a built-in belt that she cinched tightly at the waist. She paired the stunner with floor-grazing deep maroon pants that hid her footwear. Dua oozed cool as she posed for photos with her hands tucked into her pockets and her hair tucked into her collar. To finish off the look, she glammed up with glowy makeup, including a subtle red smokey eye, rosy cheeks, and a soft muted rep lip.

Dua is in high spirits going into music’s biggest night. Earlier in the day, she posted a carousel of images to Instagram with the caption “crazy weeeek!! See you tomorrow Grammys ❤️.”

In the cover photo, she plugged into another trend: the mob wife aesthetic, donning a black pinstripe midi skirt, a black mock neck top, black square-toe leather stiletto boots, matching elongated shades, and a black suede jacket with fluffy dark gray trim along the sleeves, hem, and collar. In another snap, she was all street style in an oversized gray blazer layered over a white button-down shirt and matching camisole top. She teamed it all with dark gray wide-leg trousers that revealed a hint of her white lace underwear, kept up by a furry brown-and-black cow belt with white accents and “Supreme” in silver stud lettering. She accented her off-duty ensemble with layers of glitzy gold charm necklaces, oversized gold hoops, and frameless tinted shades, while slicking her hair back into a messy bun.

Dua is up for two Grammy Awards tonight: Best Song Written for Visual Media and Song of the Year, both for “Dance The Night [From ‘Barbie The Album’].”
