Despite Meghan Markle launching her blog American Riviera Orchard on March 14, not much else has happened. Meghan has sent in quite a few trademark applications for creating products like kitchen appliances, skincare, and more for the brand. However, besides that and an email waitlist, there isn’t much; and that’s rubbing quite a few people the wrong way, apparently.
Many insiders have spilled the beans to Page Six via MSN, claiming that while Meghan’s brand is the talk of the town, there’s reportedly nothing else to it; no news of sourcing, investors, or employees.
One insider talked about how industry members have sensed a pattern with the Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍es projects, and it’s allegedly going to bite them in the butt when it comes to their business strategy. “They [Harry and Meghan] consistently make announcements and roll things out really early … to what point?” the insider said.
Insiders also claimed that there has been no word of any type of launch, and that many of her finance friends aren’t investing in the new brand. the response you want.Grammarly

For those who don’t know, Meghan has had a history of blogging for a long time, even before her well-known lifestyle The Tig, which lasted from 2014 to 2017, after she started getting serious with Prince Harry. Even before The Tig, she anonymously ran a blog from 2010 to 2012 called The Working Actress, which detailed the “pitfalls and triumphs of struggling to make it in Hollywood.” per Hello.
While she has an extensive background in blogging, it’s never quite been on this large of a scale before, so she could potentially be lining her ducks in a row before her first post or launch.
