Anthony Joshua watched Fury’s doc
In an interview with Men’s Health, Fury’s rival AJ was asked if he had watched the docuseries.
And Joshua revealed: “Yes. I am on episode six. I’m enjoying it.”
AJ’s name comes up regularly in the show as at the time of filming the British rivals were going back and forth in fight negotiations.
One scene shows Fury on a day out with his sons when a member of the public tells him Joshua would beat him.
Responding to the funny interaction, Joshua said: “I’ll need to get him some free tickets. I thought Fury handled it really well.”
The two-time champ admitted he would be open to doing in a similar-style show.
But he would not have son JJ feature as much as Fury’s six children did throughout the episodes.
He said: “Maybe I would focus more on the business, our values, what we will do after boxing.
“What is the gain for family? A minute of fame? If one of them had a strategy where they wanted to showcase themselves for some reason then yes, a great opportunity, but they don’t.”
Joshua, 34, and Fury, 35, have frustratingly failed in the past to ever get their blockbuster showdown over the line.
And AJ admitted his career would not be complete if he does not share the ring with the Gypsy King or Deontay Wilder, 37.
He said: “If I don’t fight Fury or Deontay Wilder, one of those two, then yes.
“But I am not waiting around till I’m 40. I can’t drag my career out waiting.
“In between waiting, I will have to do more fights, more training camps, more pressure.”
Joshua wants to fight Fury or Deontay Wilder before retiring.
