On Wednesday, Anya Taylor-Joy appeared in New York to promote Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, leaving little to the imagination.

The 28-year-old plays the title role in the origin narrative of Imperator Furiosa, who was initially portrayed by Charlize Theron in Mad Max: Fury Road.

While rushing between media events to promote her new picture, Anya has attracted the eye with her incredibly fashionable outfits.

Her most recent appearance, however, may have been her most striking yet: a short backless dinner dress that hugged her slim frame.

Her provocative costume had spaghetti straps down the back and an exposed weave that suggested she was not wearing underwear.

The wine-colored dress was cut to emphasize her taut midriff and show off her statuesque legs as she pounded the pavement in the city that never sleeps.

Sweeping her signature platinum hair into a ponytail, she brought out her luminous complexion with a blood-red shade of lipstick.

Her latest outing comes after she confessed she had no driver’s license before she had to stunt-drive for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

‘They just threw me in the car and went you’re going to do this. I was like: “Okay,”‘ she said while being interviewed with her co-star Chris Hemsworth on Lorraine.

She noted how ‘fun’ it was ‘that the first thing I learned how to do in a car was’ the strenuous stunts she had to perform for the movie.

‘I have fallen in love with it, I want to get my normal driving license, I want to get my stunt driving license. It’s a really cool way to learn how to drive.’

Fury Road starred Charlize Theron as Furiosa, an avenging warrior who leads a tribe of women in a relentlessly macho, post-apocalyptic wasteland.

Now Anya’s new movie is on the verge of release, relaying the heartrending origin story that turns Furiosa into a hardened, ruthless 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁er.

Anya plays the title role of Furiosa, starting off as a long-haired beauty who turns into the cropped-haired, warpainted bruiser that Fury Road fans will instantly recognize.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, directed by George Miller, the architect behind the whole Mad Max franchise, made its Cannes debut last week.

The film received an 86% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a six-minute standing ovation during its festival premiere.

While promoting the film, which opens on Friday, Anya recently disclosed that one extended 15-minute sequence took an incredible 78 days to film.

“We shot it for 78 days, 78 days!” she revealed on The One Show. ‘Yes. It’s named “Stowaway.” It was 100% the mountain we were all attempting to climb.
