Fresh off the heels of their successful Nigeria tour, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly turning their attention to their kids as they map out their future as non-working royals. The Duke and Duchess of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍 have been busy building up their new empire, including visiting Nigeria to promote Prince Harry’s Invictus Games and launching Markle’s new American Riviera Orchard lifestyle brand. Now, the couple is apparently planning a “big move” for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to get them involved in their upcoming projects when the time is right.

According to royal author Tom Quinn, Prince Harry and Markle are hoping to debut their son, 5, and daughter, 2, in a more public capacity, including bringing them along on some of their future official travels.

Quinn told The Mirror that while the parents have kept their kids out of the spotlight that could change now that they’re a little older. “Harry and Meghan are incredibly proud of their children, and when they are a little older and better able to travel, there is no doubt they will be taken on some of the couple’s tours,” he said.

The royal expert said they hope this inclusion will boost public perception of their family. “The charming royal couple with their charming royal children will attract the sort of publicity that Harry and Meghan crave, especially now that they are so determined to be billionaire entrepreneurs.”

However, timing is everything, and Quinn hinted that the move might come with some backlash from senior royals. The author claimed that the couple’s recent trip to Nigeria has left Prince William and Princess Kate “terrified” as they worry that “Harry and Meghan will continue to organize trips across the world until they are seen as the public face of the royal family.”

Prince Harry recently confirmed that he and the Suits alum are eager to take more work trips in the future after their visit to Nigeria.

“There’s only so much one can do from home and over Zoom, so we look forward to traveling more because the work matters,” he told People. “Whether it’s the Archewell Foundation, Invictus or any of our other causes, there will always be reasons to meet the people at the heart of our work.”
