‘Bone-Chilling!’ – Anthony Joshua’s Thunderous Blows in Mike Tyson Gym Revealed!
Anthony Joshua has been training at Mike Tyson’s boxing facility in Saudi Arabia.
AJ is now in Riyadh, having flown there to see heavyweight rivals Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk compete for the undisputed titles this weekend.
Joshua let his hands go, battering a pad held by his trainer.
Joshua has yet to officially confirm his next fight, but he is being targeted by Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalashikh to fight the winner of Filip Hrgovic vs Daniel Dubois in September at Wembley Stadium.
As he awaits the call to sign the contract for his latest outing, Joshua has been crashing the pads alongside trainer Ben Davison at the new ‘Mike Tyson Boxing Club’ gym in the city.
The British heavyweight first landed a booming shot on the pad which let out a thunderous clap, before unleashing another powerful left hook.
Fans marvelled at his power after seeing the video, with one writing: “That power. He is scary.”
Another agreed: “F ****** hell that’s some serious snap bang wallop punch with power from legs.
“Jesus whoever is going to get hit with that is f****d. Period. Wow wow wow.”
One fan joked: “Not even for £1 million, would I take a punch from AJ.”
A viewer even claimed: “Honestly, big shout out to coach Ben Davison for fine tuning AJ again! I believe AJ will send whoever he’s fighting to another sleep come September.”
Joshua knocked out Ngannou last time out.
After seeing the footage, a debate was sparked by one fan who wrote: “He’s in his Prime now, he beats Fury.”
One concluded: “In a perfect world, AJ should fight the winner of the Fury vs Usyk fight!”
Joshua has been in scintillating form since losing in back-to-back meetings with Usyk, during which he lost his unified world titles by August 2022.
He initially linked up with Derrick James who oversaw his initial return to form with wins over Jermaine Franklin and Robert Helenius in 2023.
But his most recent two victories against Otto Wallin in December 2023 and Francis Ngannou in March this year have seen him put his name back in world title contention.
The 34-year-old could be in waiting if Fury and Usyk are not able to fulfil their contracted sequel following their maiden fight in the Middle East.
Although Fury’s promoter Frank Warren believes February could be when British boxing fans can finally see the squared circle rivalry settled.
He said: “There’s obviously a rematch clause, but if Tyson comes through, of course we want to see the big fight between Fury and AJ.
But I don’t think that will be the fight afterwards. I don’t think it will be because there is so much money involved for the loser of this fight.
“I don’t know what sort of step-aside money you’d give them to do that.
“It would only happen if someone was out of action after this first fight – that would be a thing.
“But it will come around quick. [If he wins in September] Joshua will fight the winner in February.”
