Country Star’s Wife Dramatically Ditches Designer Bags Amid Scandal
Brittany Aldean might be feeling fastidious, yet she most certainly wouldn’t stroll around in her Balenci-ussies.
Jason Aldean’s better half seems to have discarded every last bit of her Balenciaga garments and extras in the midst of the brand’s promoting outrage coming from a mission that showed kids holding bear-motivated sacks Cotton wears servitude garments.
Brittany posted a photograph on Instagram showing her pulling two enormous trash containers loaded up with Balenciaga garments, shoes and satchels to the check.
“It’s trash day,” she captioned the snap, tagging Balenciaga.
The bags appear to contain thousands of dollars’ worth of items, including logo sweats, slides and two of the label’s famous Hourglass bags.
Husband Jason encouraged her, commenting, “Show em how to ‘walk the walk’ babe!” and dropping a series of applause emojis.
Although comments were limited, her fans seemed to approve of the closet cleanout.
“Same,” Florida Georgia Line singer Brian Kelley’s wife, Brittney, agreed. One fan said they were similarly ridding their wardrobe of all things Balenciaga, writing, “Burning all mine to the ground.”
“If enough people give it to the homeless it’ll cheapen the brand,” a third person responded to Brittany, who describes herself as “Unapologetically Conservative” on social media.
“This is just another reason why I respect you!” another commenter praised, tagging Kim Kardashian — who’s posed for several Balenciaga campaigns and frequently wears the house’s designs — and asking, “What about you?”
Kardashian did issue a statement on Twitter Sunday night, writing, “I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened.”
According to TMZ, she also turned down a 2023 Balenciaga ad deal and ditched numerous Balenciaga outfits she’d been planning to wear to upcoming events.
