Kendrick Lamar has linked up with his pgLang signee Tanna Leone for a new song produced by frequent collaborator Cardo.

Leone previewed a 30-second snippet of the track on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday (July 24), which mostly hears the up-and-coming MC on vocals while Kendrick is on ad-lib duties.

The song is reportedly titled “Peter Pan” and may be intended for a joint project between Leone and Cardo, with the pgLang rapper captioning the preview: “When we doin the collab tape mane?! @cardogotwings.”

After Leone was criticized for teasing his collaboration with K. Dot, he hit back on X (formerly Twitter).

“Apparently I’m a ‘bad person’ for teasing my own shit :/ the game ain’t what it used to be,” he wrote in a since-deleted post.

He added: “Let’s bring mixtape culture back. Free shit. Gratís.”

Tanna Leone previously collaborated with Kendrick Lamar on the Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers track “Mr. Morale,” which was released shortly after he signed to Kendrick and Dave Free’s pgLang imprint in partnership with Def Jam.

Upon announcing Leone’s signing, Def Jam CEO Tunji Balogun said in a statement: “We’re excited to welcome Tanna Leone and pgLang to the Def Jam family as valued partners.

“I’m lucky to have been able to connect with Kendrick and Dave during the early stages of my career as friends and collaborators, and I’m thrilled to be able to extend that relationship here at Def Jam.

“Tanna is a dynamic and multi-talented new voice and we’re honored to be a part of his development and success.”
